Commander In Chief of Defence Forces Sends Message to Ruto, Mentions August 9th Polls

Robert Kibochi, the Chief of Defense Forces, has communicated with the President of Kenya, William Ruto, via a message. Kibochi claims that he is pleased that the nation has continued to enjoy stability and tranquility in the wake of the election on August 9th, despite the fact that political conflicts continue to exist.

Robert Kibochi asserts that in his capacity as Commander in Chief of the Defense Forces, President Ruto has continued to provide direction to the armed forces. Kibochi asserts that President Ruto continues to enjoy the support and loyalty of the armed forces.

The Chief of Defence Forces wants the president to be aware that all military commanders, including the Vice Chief of Defence Forces Francis Ogolla, are solidly behind the president. The Chief of Defence Forces made this request to the president. Kibochi is certain that Kenya will remain safe under the protection of the military well into the foreseeable future.

It is very evident that Robert Kibochi is delighted, like everyone else, that Uhuru Kenyatta has consented to a peaceful handover of power. It is a reality that there was a great deal of tension in the politics of the country; however, things have returned to their regular state.
