Kenya Defence Forces is one of the key security organs in our nation.Mainly comprise of three units,the Kenya Army,Kenya Air force and Kenya Navy.It's core mandate is to protect our country from external aggressions.
Yesterday Kenya Air Force commander,Major General John Omenda,presided over the graduation ceremony at the Defence Forces Technical college at Embakasi Garisson.This was the 17th Graduation ceremony at the said institution.
A total of 228 service men and women graduated with diplomas and certificates in different courses which include, electrical and electronic engineering,aeronautical engineering among others.Also 15 officers successfully graduated after completing Officers Engineering Course.
The Commander Air Force also congratulated the graduands and urged them to make proper use of the acquired skills and knowledge as they partake their duties as defence technicians.
