M23 Suffers Another Setback in Goma as Kenya KDF Soldiers Takes Another New Step

Deputy Commander, Kenya Army Major General Peter Muteti has today Saturday 26 November 2022 commissioned the third batch of the main body deployed to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) at Embakasi Garrison, Nairobi.

The contingent shall join their colleagues who left the country two weeks ago under the East African Community Regional Force (EACRF).

Maj Gen Muteti said the first batch is making big strides in bringing peace in the Eastern part of DRC and implored the soldiers to be good ambassadors of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) as has been the custom in all its previous missions.

The East African Regional Force (EACRF) Commander Major General Jeff Nyagah assured residents of the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) that the force remains committed to a lasting solution in ensuring the restoration of peace and stability in the region.

Positive and conducive learning environment increases students’ attention and focus promotes meaningful learning experiences, motivates students to practice higher-level critical thinking skills. The KDF soldier based in Afmadhow Forward Operating Base (FOB),finished a week-long renovation project at Dohbale school where they renovated sixteen classroms, the principals' office and two ablution blocks. The renovation included repair of damaged classwalls, reconstruction of damaged verandas and paint works.
