VCDF Lt Gen Ogolla Accompanies CS Duale in Customary Visit to KDF Troops Deployed in North Eastern

The Kenya Defense Forces has been hailed as a model force across the continent and this is why the soldiers are involved in several missions not just in Africa but across the world over.

The KDF Troops are headed by the Chief of Defense Forces, General Robert Kibochi who is assisted by the Vice Chief of Defense Forces Lieutenant General Francis Ogolla.

The Cabinet Secretary of Defense, Aden Duale, was appointed by President William Ruto to replace Eugene Wamalwa who had been in the previous administration.

This morning, according to the available reliable reports that we have received from the Kenya Defense Forces, the Cabinet Secretary of Defense, Aden Duale and the Vice Chief of Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Francis Ogolla visited the KDF Troops operating in North Eastern Kenya.

The Cabinet Secretary for Defence Hon. Aden Duale who was in the company of Vice Chief of Defence Forces Lt. General Francis Ogolla are said to have visited gallant KDF troops that are operating in various Forward Operating Bases found in North Eastern with a happy new year wishes.

Addressing the soldiers, the CS is said to have conveyed new years’ best wishes and greetings from the Commander in Chief of KDF President Ruto to the troops assuring them of the President's full support as they engage in their operations geared towards containing aggressive and violebt extremism in the larger North Eastern Region.

Here is a statement from KDF, "While visiting the Wajir Air Base, Damasa, Gherille as well as Diff Forward Operating Bases, the Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale expressed great optimism on the readiness of the troops imploring them not to relent in keeping the nation safe. He at the same time thanked the troops for their selfless service to nation and reiterated that the government’s effort to equip as well as modernise KDF with new arsenal all readiness for our aggressors."
