Two people were killed and ten others seriously injured following an attack on a convoy carrying Lapsset workers in Bodhi, Lamu county.
Kenya's Defence Force soldiers repulsed the attackers who escaped into the Bony forest. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the Mpeketoni morgue while those injured were taken to Kenya Navy hospital for treatment.
The attacks happened as a family in Webuye East buried their slain kin Oliver Simuelo who was among three Kenha officials who were killed after their vehicle was blown off by an improvised explosive device in Bura East Tana River County.
Let's all pray for the families of these people as they celebrate their heroes in their last days. Follow the page for more news updates daily.
