
Today KDF boss Kibochi and his vice chair lieutenant general Ocholla where among ateam of top KDF officials who oversaw the signing of a performance contract for the year 2022 to 2023. This coming just a few days after KIBOCHI and Ocholla oversaw the swearing in of the new President William Ruto.

According to a statement by the Kenya Defence Force on their Twitter handle the meeting today was a sign that the Independence of the military in Kenya is safeguarded, and that performance is key for every institution under the military.
The signing of the performance contract is seen as a major Milestone in the Kenya Defence Force who have been on the limelight for their work including the renovation of the Uhuru Park which costed millions of shillings.
When ruto took power this week he said that he will hand over the necessary financial assistance to the military to ensure that they carry out their mandate as required by the law.
