Tension remains high in the country as fresh details keep coming up. A lot is happening in the North Rift regions where the residents are going through tough times caused by killer bandits. Most people have been wondering why is it that the bandits are not easily caught when they get on their mission. It has now emerged that there are some war tactics the bandits are using making it hard for Kenya Defence Forces KDF and the police officers to apprehend them.
New reports have cited that over the weekend there was a fierce battle between the KDF and bandits in Kalemngorok trading centre, Turkana county. The whole night the police exchanged fire with the bandits but they succeeded to walk away with hundreds of cattle.
Two military choppers were called which were used to bombard a livestock market where the bandits were leaving several people injured. Jacob Ouma, the County Commissioner confirmed the incident and said it was a military operation targeted to flush out bandits from the area.
According to the reports given by the residents who spoke to the media, they claimed that it is so unfortunate that the government is yet to do this stating that they don't see any difference, 3OOO Cattles have already been stolen.
While reacting to this incident, Kenyans who took to their different social media accounts to express their opinions on the matter have called upon the government to do something about this because, people are being killed even after President William Ruto Deployed the Kenya Defense Forces soldiers.
