DCI Receives State of the Art Equipment, Vehicles and Motorbikes from United States Government

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has been busy with ensuring that the country is safe from any criminal elements that are causing lawlessness in the land.

This afternoon, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations official social media handle, the Director General, Amin Mohamed, received new equipment at Mazingira Complex.

According to the reports that we have with us from the scene the equipment was donated by the United States Government in collaboration with the Kenyan security agency.

DCI’s Anti Terrorism Police Unit as well as the Joint Anti Terrorism Task Force has this afternoon received a major logistical boost through donation two top-of-the range vehicles as well as twelve motorbikes.

The donations were made by the Federal Bureau of Investigations Anti Terror Assistance Programme as well as the State Department Bureau of Counter Terrorism.

Directorate of Criminal Investigations Director General Mohamed Amin is said to have appreciated the collaboration which he credited for the overall reduction of reported cases of terror around the region.

42 detectives drawn from the Anti Terrorism Police Unit of the DCI are said to have undergone a 12-week intensive counterterrorism training at the FBI Academy that is found in Quantico, Virginia.
