Robert K. Kibochi is the Kenyan Defense Forces' four-star general and their commander. He is the second-ranking member of the KDF, behind President William Samoei Ruto (5-Star General).
He emailed everyone in Kenya his year-end message today. CDF Kibochi stated in a tweet provided by Kenya Defence Forces that as the year comes to a conclusion, we should take stock, reflect, and be reminded of what we have gone through, where we are going, and what we are grateful for.
"We effectively continued carrying out our year's mandate to protect our national interests in 2022. During the most recent peaceful election and transition of power, it was abundantly obvious that our country remained a beacon of peace and stability in the area. Kenya's dependability on its foreign and regional allies was demonstrated by the KDF's continuous professionalism and mission preparedness throughout all seasons "As he wished Kenyans a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year in 2023, he continued.
