KDF Soldiers In DRC Congo Goes Beyond Duty And Provide Humanitarian Services To Local Communities

Despite operating in difficult circumstances, KDF soldiers have made it a habit to go beyond the call of duty and provide humanitarian services to local communities in DRC Congo. From the preliminary reports, In November 2022, Kenyan government deployed the soldiers to DRC to help in restoring calm in the gold-rich country.

Further, from the reports, KDF troops have established an excellent rapport with villagers. According to reports, On December 23, 2022, the Kenyan troops helped to resettle IDPs in Kibumba following the withdrawal of the M23 militants.

Following this, action by KDF troops in DRC have generated mixed reactions to Kenyans online who have reacted giving different reactions towards it.
