Defence Cabinet Secretary Hon Aden Duale together with Vice Chief of Defense Forces (VCDF) Francis Ogolla have reportedly joined several military troops in celebrating all an extension of the Christmas day.
Taking to his social media account, Aden Duale informed that President William Ruto had asked them to deliver Christmas greetings which they did relay successfully.
Speaking during the event after meeting the soldiers at the Kenya Navy Base (KNB) in Manda Bay, Kilbio and Bodhei, the CS informed of new changes that would be made in the security sector.

The reforms will reportedly be concentrated on ways of improving security in the country through the use of soldier-centred, welfare-oriented approach. Duale believes that such reforms will consequently enhance the morale of Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) personnel.
This will include upgrading and construction of health and housing facilities for them across all the military bases in the country.
