The UDA digital strategist Dennis Itumbi had recently shared misleading information on his twitter handle. In his allegations he said that the UDA Communications Director Wanjohi Githae and Deputy President William Ruto's Chief of Staff Davis Chirchir had been kidnapped and arrested at the Bomas of Kenya. His claims raised heated reactions from Kenyans including UDA allies. Kipchumba Murkomen gave an update on the whereabouts of the two leaders and said that David Chirchir is fine and Kenyans should have that information with them. He said that they should take note that all is well with him.
Mwalimu Dida also reacted to Itumbi's claims and said, "Itumbi says Davis Chirchir and another male adult arrested. Murkomen says Chirchir is fine. I say Chirchir is a fish. What do you say?" In their responses they have cautioned Itumbi that he should not spread propaganda that can misleading Kenyans and even lead to chaos. Aaron Cheruiyot said, "Davis Chirchir is fine and Okay. The desperste outgoing system tried to arrest for unknown reasons as he was leaving Bomas. Thanks to vigilant members of the public who came to his rescue. When it is the final day of the monkey, all trees are slippery."
