Lieutenant Colonel Damaris Agnetta has been picked as President William Ruto's female Aide-de-camp, State House has confirmed the development.
The development comes after the new President settled on Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga as his new ADC to replace Brigadier Timothy Stelu Lekolool, who has been re-deployed to DoD.
As a result, Lt Colonel Damaris will serve as Colonel Lengusuranga's deputy until further notice.
Both Colonel Lengusuranga and his deputy, Lt Colonel Damaris Agnetta are from the Kenya Army.
On Tuesday, Dr Ruto stepped out with a new ADC when he attended the funeral of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's brother in Mathira, Nyeri County.
On Monday, when he inspected development projects in Nairobi, Dr Ruto stepped out with Colonel Rachael Nduta Kamui from the Kenya Air. At the time, Colonel Nduta was serving as his female ADC as an assistant to Brigadier Stelu.
Both Brigadier Stelu and his deputy, Colonel Nduta have served the new President for the last three weeks since his swearing-in as the country's fifth President on September 13, 2022.
