United Kingdom Ambassador to Kenya Jane Marriot who is set to leave the country after her term of service ends by July has broken her silence after what has happened to the elite squad of Kenya Navy.

According to the information shared, Jane Marriot has revealed that the elite squad of Kenya Navy, Kenya Marine Commandos have successfully been created after a rigourous training by the UK. She revealed that this squad will keep the country safe by countering threats and combating terorrism.
It had been earlier revealed that through a partnership between United Kingdom and the United States of America, Kenya has now created the first ever Kenyan Marine Commandos with reports revealing that, ten British Marines from 40 commando royal marines trained the Kenya Marines Commandos Unit, KMCU for over twelve weeks as part of a training programme including physical fitness and amphibious assaults.
