A Kenya Air Force officer is cooling his heels in police custody for threatening police officers while recording a statement.
Major Justus Ikwa Obare had been taken to Industrial Area police station to record a statement after he has involved in an accident.

All over sudden, Obare started confronting the traffic officers who were attending to him. He started banging the tables and threatened to beat up the officers.
One of the officers raised alarm and alerted the OCS and other officers came for their rescue. The soldier was restrained and then placed in custody.
Confirming the incident, the OCS stated that the soldier will be handed over to military police for disciplinary action.
Police said Major Obare was behind the accident that involved multiple vehicles.
A criminal threat occurs when someone threatens to kill or physically harm someone else. The threats are made with the intent of placing someone in fear of injury or death.
