It is equipped with the Bulava missile, which has a range of up to 8,000 kilometers and can carry multiple warheads. In addition to its nuclear submarines, Russia also has a significant number of land-based ICBMs, including the RS-24 Yars missile, which can carry up to 10 nuclear warheads and has a range of up to 11,000 kilometers.
While Russia's nuclear arsenal is primarily for defense purposes, it is also a source of international concern. The country's aggressive military posture and its involvement in conflicts in Ukraine and Syria have raised concerns about the potential use of its nuclear weapons.
