Kenya Defense Force (KDF) wing air force has new military aircraft in store, the highly rated aircraft will boost combative and tactically enabled aircraft like C-27J Spartan and retire seasonal one like buffalo.
The C-145 according to intelligence brief blog is reportedly as the newest aircraft in Kenya’s military.
C-145A Sky truck is a light cargo and troop transport aircraft designed and manufactured by Polskie Zaklady Lotnicze (PZL) Mielec for the US Air Force (USAF). The aircraft is primarily used to assist Aviation Foreign Internal Defense (AVF ID) missions of the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC).

The aircraft has stronger engine, short take-off and landing capabilities, picks height faster, has bigger cargo capacity. Aircraft is designed to help in precision combat airdrop, combat search-and-rescue, humanitarian assistance, casualty evacuation and disaster relief missions.
Also, the publication said its pilots were trained in Hubert Field, Florida by airmen from the US Air Force’s 818th Mobility Support Advisory Squadron and 492d Special Operations Wing.
In deed, it will be huge boost to Kenya’s military keeping in mind KDF was recently ranked by global power agency as 11th in Africa as country with powerful military and comes 83 In the world.
