Kenya Defence Forces is composed of the Kenya Navy, Army and Kenya Air force. The three units works together in Protecting the country's border from external aggression. Today, the Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale visited the Kenya Navy at the Naval headquarters in Mtongwe. He was received by Major General Jimson Longiro Mutai-Commander of the Kenya Navy.

Taking to his Twitter account, the Defence CS said that the team that the commander led Showcased their skills and modern equipments that included special operations, warships and dive boats.

The CS further visited their Naval training college KSL. The Kenya Shipyard Limited (KSL) is a subsidiary of the Kenya Defence Forces which offers a wide range of maritime services including ship building, Engineering etc.
