Kenya is the East African continent's economic and technological center. That is why the country's officials have had to step up security, especially at the eastern and northern borders, as well as being a target for terrorists.
As a result, the Department of Defense was able to acquire additional armories for its service members and to increase the size of its military force through yearly recruitment campaigns. Kenya has purchased tanks and other military equipment over the years.
In a combat situation, tanks offer an advantage due to their heavy armor and devastating weaponry. More than 80 tanks make up the country's tank battalion, which includes Rissian T-72 tanks, British Vicker Mark iii Tanks, and Chinese Type 59, 61, and 63 tanks.
Rissian tanks were developed during the Cold War. New armored personnel carriers have been purchased by the Ministry of Defense to aid its security personnel in the performance of their duties.
What do you think about the tanks?
