Military receiving Rigathi
There was show of Might in Mombasa Airport the moment the military chopper that was carrying the deputy president together with his delegation landed in the area in style. Today being the official opening ceremony of the showground which is part of Kenya's long-standing history.

At the airport the deputy president was received by top military officials who paraded themselves granting him a VIP treatment the moment him together with his delegation made their way to the airport. This being the first official visit for Rigathi since he was announced as deputy president of the Republic of Kenya.
Also present at the event were leaders drawn from Kenya Kwanzaa and as my own emoji and who are based in the Kenyan coastal region. Among them was former kwale governor and also the current governor of Mombasa who was recently elected on an ODM ticket.
This year's Showground is the first to happen under the leadership of the new administration as they promised to oversee robust growth of tourism in the area.
