Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale Today Held A meeting with Bilgium Special Representative for the Great Lakes region, His Excellency Ambassador Stephane Doppagne and his delegation. Kenya Plays a central role in bringing peace and stability in the Great Lakes region and the Ethiopia-Tigray belt. 
According to a post shared by Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) on their twitter account, the CS hosted the leaders for a meeting at Defence headquarters in Nairobi to discuss the security situation in the Great Lakes region and Eastern part of Democratic Rebublic of Congo (DRC). 
The CS said that they've already deployed the Kenya Defence Forces to restore peace in DRC and implored for the European Support the peace initiative in the region. The CS assured the delegation of Kenya's commitment to play leading role in bringing peace.
