News just in indicates that Kenya Defence Forces, KDF was represented in a high profile meeting for strategic planning for military coordination in the Eastern part of Democratic Republic of Congo.
The meeting was attended by top military officials where the MONUSCO Force Commander was engaging the East African Community Regional Force, EACRF. The meeting was conducted at Hotel Ihusi and will run for 3 days.

"I attended a meeting with the East African Community Regional Force at Hotel Ihusi that will last 3 days for consolidating agreements for ample coordination amongst security players" Read in parts,a tweet shared MONUSCO Force Commander said.

The meeting comes as the Third Peace in Nairobi is ongoing to help restore peace in the region that has seen conflict that has displaced thousands of people.
The current meeting in Nairobi is being facilitated by ex President Uhuru Kenyatta who is playing a pivotal role to end the conflict.
