M23 rebels in Democratic Republic of Congo have made a great move in ensuring that they abide by the negotiations talks made to restore peace in the Nation. According to reports, M23 rebels who are claimed to have occupied certain areas in DRC without any legal procedure have now changed tune.

The M23 rebels have finally met former president Uhuru Kenyatta who is among the peace envoys in Eastern community. The M23 rebels have agreed to withdraw from areas they occupied and move to other areas. Efforts to ensure that things run smoothly in DRC have been tough and Kenya as a country has played a great role in ensuring peace prevails in DRC.

The move by M23 rebels to cede occupied areas have been received positively by many people who have thanked former president Uhuru Kenyatta and his team for the great job done.
