The Congolese government has sent a warning to the M23 rebels for the last time asking them to surrender or face the hostilities of the joined forces currently on a peace mission in Congo.

The government ordered the rebels to evacuate from Bunagana, Rutshuru and Kiwanja before the forces move into action. The government during a peace conference in Nairibi said that it will not offer amnesty to the terrorist group which has continuously declined calls to lay down their weapons and negotiate for peace.
"If they are your brothers and sisters, I advise you to tell them to come while the arm is still stretched towards them. Do not want to be in conflict with the government and the East African Community Regional Force (EACRF)," President Felix Tshesekedi's special envoy Serge Tshibangu Wednesday told the armed groups attending the third Nairobi Peace Process on.

He went further to state that they will not engage in any way with the rebels who are fighting in Congo and asked them to leave the country immediately. Follow the page for more news updates daily.
