Turkana bandits were captured on camera putting on wide smiles on their faces as they enjoyed a light moment with the soldiers after being arrested by the military.
Six Turkana bandits were captured smiling as they knelt before the military, just moments before they were handed over to the Kenyan side.
Well, the bandits were arrested by the Ugandan military after they crossed over to Uganda and teamed up with another group of 8 bandits in Uganda.
They staged a cattle rustling mission in Karamoja Sub-region in Uganda between 20th Feb to 26 Feb 2023 before the military arrested them.

The Ugandan military, after completing their investigations, handed over the six Kenyan bandits to the Turkana County government during an exercise that unfolded at Moroto army barracks.
Uganda’s security side was led by Brig Gen Felix Busizoori, 3 Division deputy commander of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) who handed over the six (6) suspects to his counterpart, Mr. Peter Eripete County Secretary and head of the public service, Turkana County Government in the Republic of Kenya.
