The African President Allegedly Supporting Notorious M23 Killer Rebels In DR Congo

In many places of worship this Christmas period, there will be many prayers for peace in the World and in your prayers, remember to pray for the peace restoring in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) where rebels have been engaging in heavy fighting with the government forces and many innocent people are suffering.

Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) are part of the East Africa Community Regional Forces (EACRF) in the Democratic Republic of Congo for peacekeeping mission and are expected to neutralise the M23 rebel group in the region. The peace keepers were deployed after cry of innocent civilians who had been terrorised by the M23 not only during the night, but also in broad daylight.

The M23's resurgence has cratered relations between the DRC and its smaller neighbour Rwanda, which Kinshasa accuses of backing the M23. It is alleged that Paul Kagame is behind what is happening in DRC. This comes after the European Union warned Rwanda not to finance the M23 rebels.

As reported by Citizen TV, the European Union on Saturday urged Rwanda to stop supporting the M23 rebel group, which has captured swathes of territory in North Kivu province in neighbouring DR Congo. Source, Citizen.
