Two Facts About A 'Bazooka' You Might Not Be Knowing

In the field of armour, there are a number of weapons which are considered strong and dangerous including 'Bazooka', tankers and a few others.

What is a 'Bazooka' ?

This is a long tube-shaped gun that is normally held on the shoulder and fires rockets. Officially titled the M9A1 Rocket Launcher, it was called 'bazooka' after a crude horn of that name used by radio comedian Bob Burns.

Purposes Of A Bazooka?

According to armour experts, bazookas were developed chiefly for attacking tanks and fortified positions at short range.

According to experts, bazookas have the ability to launch a 3.5-pound (1.6-kg) rocket with a diameter of 2.36 inches (60 mm) and a length of 19 inches (483 mm). 

It is deu to the above fact Bazookas are normally used in battle fields unlike the normal firearms whose impact tend to be weak as compared to bazookas.

Coincidentally, the name 'Bazooka' in economics means a huge amount of money a Government makes at a time of crisis like the ongoing Covid-19 crisis among others.
