As a way of curbing with insecurity challenges in Rift valley region, two hundred Assistant County commisioners (ACC) formerly known as District officer (DO) were deployed to Rift Valley today to be deployed among the fourteen counties in the region
Speaking today in Langalanga Secondary School, Nakuru County, Rift Valley Regional Commissioner, George Natembeya insisted that the need for security is paramount for every Kenyan citizen in the country. The Assistant County Commisioners will work hand in hand with the area chiefs and assistant chiefs especially in mobilisation of new voters to register with Electoral and Boundaries commisioner (IEBC) as today marks the second day of mass voter registration.
"Rift Valley has fourteen counties have fourteen counties and most of them have insecurity challenges especially in the north rift. assistant Counties deployed to these counties will help in taking the responsibility of enhancing peace in those regions," George Natembeya said
