As the commander in chief of all armed forces, President Uhuru ensures he shows love and care to his soldiers by constantly visiting them. Among important things the head of state does is to attend important Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) functions.
And today, the President has visited one of the Kenya Navy bases located in Manda Bay, Lamu County. The head of state donned in Kenya Navy military uniform and boarded a Kenya air force transportation plane.
State House Kenya revealed on Facebook, "His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta is received by Defence Cabinet Secretary Amb Monica Juma and Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces General Robert Kibochi at the Kenya Navy Base, Manda Bay in Lamu County for the Presidential and Regimental Colour Presentation Ceremony".

Kenyans who were impressed with the work the head of state is doing offered their messages of good tidings and showed respect to the Kenyan military.
Jacinta Ogutu said, "Thanks for the efforts president is making to take this country forward".
Ann Wangari said, "We are proud of you commander in chief"..
Diana Omondi said, "Super President. The state of our country's security iko ngangari".
