According to the latest information shared by Somalia National TV, a local fighter who killed a top Al Shabaab leader has been rewarded handsomely.

According to the information shared, Mohammed Malin, a local fighter is reported to have killed Al Shabaab head of money extortion in Elbaraf village last week.
The information shared reveals that Lieutenant Colonel Muqtar Hassan Tifow, one of the commanders leading a military operations in the Middle Shabelle region awarded Malin with $5000, about 600,000 Kenyan shillings at the current market price for killing the top Al Shabaab leader.

This comes as Somalia Army are intensifying operations to flush out the terrorists who have been blamed for a number of attacks both in Kenya and Somalia.
