Three more people have been reported dead after armed bandits shot them. The insecurity in different parts of the Rift Valley region has generated tension, fear, suffering, and even underdevelopment among the people.

However, the most affected areas are Kerio Valley in Turkana county, Baringo county, Samburu, and Elgeyo Marakwet among others.

In the past couple of months, President William Ruto spoke about banditry a few days after he ascended to the presidency. The Head of State had insisted that he will stop the attacks and restore peace and stability in Kenya.

Perhaps, bandits continue to attack several families even after the president's caution. To the reports, three men were shot dead by the armed bandits in Kerio Valley and went away with the livestock.

They always aim to raid cattles through all means despite the deployment of the Kenya Police. However, the Commander-in-chief and Cabinet Secretary of Interior Kithure Kindiki are expected to bring a lasting solution in the region.
