Just hours after ruthless al-Shabaab militants killed four people in Garissa County, the militants have once again pulled out a heartless attack, this time around in Somalia.
Reports from Somalia have revealed that al-Shabaab last night slaughtered over 300 goats belonging to local residents near the El-hero location under the Mahas district of Hiiran region.
State media has revealed residents woke up to lifeless livestock. The attack was confirmed by District Commissioner Mumin Mohamed confirmed.
"The ruthless Alshabab terrorists have slaughtered over 300 goats belonging to local residents near El-hero location under #Mahas district of #Hiiran region last night, the District Commissioner Mumin Mohamed confirmed,' State Media said.
It is not clear why the terrorists have turned on animals, but it could be an expression of anger after the residents started supporting the military in the war against terrorism
The slaughtering of the goats happened hours after the militants killed four people in Kenya. The killed civilians ran over an improvised explosive device which blew off their car, killing them on the spot.
