News just in indicates that M23 rebels have accepted to the Great Lakes Ceasefire Deal upon expiry of the Friday Ultimatum that was issued by the East African Community Regional Force, EACRF Force.
The information shared reveals that the group now wants a meeting between them and ex President Uhuru Kenyatta's mediation team.

According to a statement released by the rebel group, the group now wants the Democratic Republic of Congo government led Felix Tshisekedi to respect the said Ceasefire otherwise the group would have no choice but to defend itself and to protect the civilians population against any violations of the agreed ceasefire.

The group now says that the only way for a long lasting peace in the Democratic Republic of Congo will be when Kinshasa will have a direct dialogue with the group.
The EACRF had given the M23 rebels upto today Friday 25 November to withdrawn from occupied territories or they expect military action from the force.
