Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Announce Mass Recruitment

The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) has announced they will start mass recruitment in the coming weeks am exercise that will take a long month drive as seen in various adverts.

The recruitment drive will commence next month November 16 to Friday, November 26. All Kenyans looking to join the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) must be a willing candidate and of no dual citizenship and must have a valid national identity card.

The KDF is looking to recruit constables, Imams and Chaplains, General service officers(GSO) cadets, general duty recruits, tradesmen and women.

The requirements for one to be recruited as an Imam or a chaplain is a minimum grade of C+ in KCSE, for a GSO cadet one must have a minimum grade of B plain in KCSE and score a C+ in both Mathematics, English and a Science.

To join as a Constable one must be a retired Kenya Defence Forces service member or a retired National Youth Serviceman or woman (NYS) with a minimum age of between 30 to 55 for KDF and 35 to 45 for NYS.
