PHOTOS: KDF Troops in DRC Win 4-3 in Football Game Against Locals to Ending 2022 in Style

The Kenya Defense Forces troops in the Democratic Republic of Congo have been ensuring that the locals are well protected from any harm that might befell them from rebels.

Since the deployment of the troops in the Eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, there has been some considerable progress in the stabilization of the region.

This evening, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the Kenya Defense Forces, the troops are said to have engaged in a football game to mark the end of 2022.

The Kenya Quick Reaction Force, KEN-QRF 2 Contingent that is deployed under the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo is said to have played a friendly football match against Mavivi locals at a place known as Beni to mark the end of the year 2022.

The friendly match is said to have been played at the KEN-QRF grounds and was aimed at promoting a better working environment as well as cementing the already existing good relationship between the soldiers and the Local community in the area.

The Kenya Defense Forces soldiers won the game by four goals to three against the locals team.
