Major Boost In DRC Following The Following Details Penned Down By M23 Rebels

In the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the East Africa Community Regional Forces (EACRF) and the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) have accomplished another significant victory (DRC).

Only a few months have passed since KDF soldiers arrived in the DRC to work with the EACRF, whose goal is to defend Congolese citizens' lives and property against rebel attacks. However, there have already been some significant successes.

The M23 rebels, one of the deadliest armed groups in the DRC, stated in a statement today that they are getting ready to hand over control of their location to the EACRF.

According to a statement given to the media by M23 Political Spokesperson Lawrence Kanyuka, they would transfer control of their military camp in RUMANGABO to "complete responsibility of the EACRF" as of tomorrow, January 5, 2023.

The path of action, he added, is in line with the pledges made at the Angolan peace summit in November.

"The M23 continues to support the Region's continued efforts to bring about peace in the DRC and is dedicated to putting into effect the decisions agreed at the Luanda Mini-Decisions Summit. On January 5th, 2023, the M23 will turn over full control of the Military Camp at Rumangabo to the EACRF." He just partially spoke.
