The Kenya Defense Force is one of the best militaries in Africa. KDF has been involved in various peacekeeping missions such as in Liberia and Sierra Leone. KDF soldiers are also operating in Somalia as part of the African Union Mission in Somalia.

Kenya is currently facing various threats such as terrorist attacks from Al Shabaab. This makes people scared and foreign investors will not put their money in the country. Kenya also has a maritime dispute with Somalia that has made the two countries' relationship sour.

Fortunately, the Kenyan government has a strong military that is capable of tackling any threats facing the country. Recently, KDF Navy soldiers were spotted in the United Kingdom. This is according to a social media post by UK in Kenya that read, "This week a Kenya Navy delegation is in the UK, led by Colonel Michael Atodonyang and are hosted at the Commando Training Centre. The Royal Marines led by Colonel Simon Chapman will help Kenya develop its maritime capabilities, as the Royal Navy and the KDF work ever more closely."
