Show of Might as KDF Troops Patrol DRC Village to Keep Residents Safe From Rebels

The Kenya Defense Forces has been in Democratic Republic of Congo under the East African Regional Force for thee past few weeks as per the reports that we have with us.

The troops deployed in the Democratic Republic of Congo are doing their best to ensure that people who are peaceful remain in their homes without any fear of the rebels.

According to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the Kenya Defense Forces, the officers together with their Congo Counterparts, conducted patrols around the villages in the area.

The officers under the United Nations Stabilization Mission in DRC (MONUSCO) is said to have carried out patrol duties in the general area of the Mamove Village within the Beni-Mavivi territory.

The Kenya Defense Forces troops in close coordination with the FARDC are said to have conducted various patrols within the Mamove village as well as its environs so as to deny the Allied Democratic Forces militias (ADF) the freedom of movement and also offer security to the local population.
