Kenya Defence Forces has sent an urgent message to Kenyans all Kenyans regarding a publication doing rounds in social media platforms.
According to the information shared by the KDF, it has flagged down an advert publication purporting to be hiring for the force Defence Forces Canteen Organisation, DEFCO.
According to the information shared, KDF has warned Members of the public that DEFCO is not hiring while saying that if does, it always verify information on employment or tender advertisements by Ministry of Defence on their social media pages or by contacting the Ministry of Defence.

"Members of the public are notified that DEFCO is not hiring. Always verify information on employment or tender advertisements by MoD on our social media pages or contacting the Ministry of Defence." KDF shared.
The fake advert had purported that DEFCO was hiring storekeepers, drivers, chefs , staff supports and even had gone ahead to provide their salaries. Let us be vigilant.
