Opiyo is clear that he was dismissed from duties as a military officer after he failed to report to duty. He is clear that the accusations against him were wrong because he just helped one of his friends with a vehicle before it was caught in robbery incident.
Opiyo wants to be compensated and be allowed to resume his duties as a Kenya Defence Forces officer. He narrates that he has never been charged in court despite his remand by DCI for a year.
The Kenya Defence Forces has never spoken about his challenges which he encountered. According to Opiyo, it's unfortunate that DCI George Kinoti found it necessary to ruin his life without subjecting him to trial.
