(Photos) Somalia's Army Chief Witnesses His Special Forces Complete NATO Like Training In Turkey.

The Somali Armed Forces are the military forces of the Federal Republic of Somalia. Headed by the President as the Commander in Chief, they are constitutionally mandated to ensure the nation's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.

Today, Somalia's Army Chief Brigadier General Odowaa Yusuf Rageh witnessed his special forces complete a Commando Basis Course in Turkey.

This is according to a social media post by SNTV News that read, "The commander of Somali National Army (SNA), Gen. Odowaa Yusuf Rageh has on Sunday attended the closing ceremony for the new batch of SNA's special forces (gorger) who completed Commando Basic Course in Isparta, Turkey."

The social media post by SNTV News was then followed by photos showing the 34 year old Brigadier General participating in handing over a certificate to one of the Somali special forces soldier who took part in the training.
