President William Ruto Gets New Aide-De-Camp

President William Samoei Ruto has a new Aide- De- Camp colonel Fabian Lengusuranga from Kenya Army. He accompanied him today to DP Rigathi's older brother Jack Reriani's funeral.

Lengusuranga has taken over from former Brigadier Timothy Stelu Lekolool who has been redeployed to Department of Defense headquarters.

Lengusuranga will be deputised by Lt. Col. Damaris Agnetta from Kenya Army. Damaris has taken over from Racheal Nduta Kamui who has been promoted to a full Colonel and deployed to DoD headquarters.

Lengusuranga was commissioned in 1999. Agnetta was commissioned in 2003 and was serving as an Artillery officer. She also served in UN observee missions.

The selection of Aide- De - Camp is done after consultation with the National defence council. Unlike the popular beliefs where people take them to be just bodyguards, they have other major roles which include managing the presidents diaryand liasing with his or her security teams.
