It is alleged that the Jets were doing their training or rather preparations for the forth coming Madaraka Day holiday celebrations that is expected to held in Kisumu. The event is roughly two weeks away. The event is expected to take at Mamboleo sports ground and currently preparations in readiness of the event is underway.
Madaraka Day celebrations is a national holiday celebrations that in Kenya done commemorate the day Kenya got independence in 1963 after being colonized by British. The is 1st June every year.
This is usually a very important occasion that is attended by the president of Kenya, Honorable Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and other top dignitaries. During this important celebration and other national holidays, these Jets are usually flown on air an indication of proper security.
