Kenyans have today been dealt a huge blow after the government issues out this crucial announcement concerning Mashujaa Day Celebrations. According to reports, the government has suspended parallel Mashujaa Day Celebrations in counties ahead of the Kirinyaga county event.
The government has made such a move of suspending Mashujaa Day celebrations in counties so as to prevent more spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Reports from the ministry of health indicate that such functions are so much dangerous in putting the lives of Kenyans at risks of contracting Covid-19 virus considering that not everybody is vaccinated as per now.
As a result, the government has therefore urged county governments to ensure that the above message has been adhered to. No parallel Mashujaa day celebrations will be allowed to take place so as to protect our country from the pandemic.
