Mashujaa Day Celebrations 2021

Governor Ann Waigurus county Kirinyaga will host this year’s Mashujaa Day celebrations on Monday 20th October 2021.

"In preparation for Mashujaa Day, my govt has increased vaccination centers from 9 to 22. Residents are urged to receive vaccinations ONLY at these HEALTH centers as only specially trained staff stationed there can administer vaccines." Governor waiguru post on 10th September 2021.

The Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho inspected ongoing works at Wanguru stadium, which is set to host the ceremony.

Since President Uhuru Kenyatta came to power he shifted the celebrations from Being held in Nairobi alone but to other counties too where a conty is yo jos atleast 2 National events rotational.

Mashujaa day has been celebrated in 8 different counties;Nakuru, Machakos, Meru, Nyeri, Kakamega, Mombasa, Narok, and Kisii.

Key leaders will be expected to be in the National event that will be presided by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta.

Other Leaders expected to attend the event includes; His Excellency the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya William Samoei Ruto,Former prime Minister and Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Amolo Odinga, Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi,Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka, KANU leader Gedion Moi, Carbinet Secretaries,Governors, Senators among other dignitaries.

With race for 2022 in play and the price for commodities rising up, kenyans will be waiting to see what will be addressed.
