9 Real life facts that are hard for people to accept

Sometimes in life there comes a time when tough love must be exercised so that people may be able to improve their situations in life. There is no beating around the bush and treating one like an egg. This is important so that people can work harder for what they need and be able to maintain their relationships with their family and friends.

Thus these nine points should be able to point them into the right direction.

1. Life is not fair get used to it

Stop expecting life to hand you the things you think you 'deserve'. Waiting for a situation to improve without doing anything is never gonna happen. Bad things will keep on happening and suffering isn't ending anytime soon, so double down and work harder.

2. The world doesn't care about your self esteem

Start making something of yourself today. Right now. Encourage your self and don't wait for people to applaud you so that you can feel good about yourself. It's not going to happen.

3. You will not make a six figure salary after school

You will have to work hard for what you get. Luck will not follow you around all the time. Something's take a while to form so enjoy the process and the results will come in time.

4. Doing menial jobs is not beneath your dignity

Swallow your pride and take that job you think is beneath you as a stepping stone. Pride won't pay the bills and people are not going to line up so they can feed you.

5. What you see on TV is not real life

In real life, people have to actually leave the house and go to jobs. Being a couch potato will only dull your brain and put your general health in danger all the while being lazy means no money for your family.

6. Life is not divided into semesters. Once life start it, it goes on and on

Spend your time doing something worthwhile. Life is not like a school to he told what to do at what time. You plan it yourself and no one is marking your performance. Your failures will be a testament to what you are doing.

7. Your school may have done away with winners and losers but life hasn't

The result of an exam does not justify the means. It doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to real life. When you go out into the world some of the people who had higher grades than you may be doing badly and others who hard lower grades maybe fairing well. Having a high intelligence doesn't guarantee a good life.

8. Your parents know something you don't

Before you were born, you're parents weren't as boring as they're now. They had a beautiful life and were young. They lived a different life that taught them some lessons that you think only you know about. Communicate with them and understand where they are coming from.

9. If you mess up it's not your parents fault

Stop passing the blame around and take the responsibility for your failure. You may be the problem ninety nine percent of the time and still blaming your parents for something that you did sometime back. Grow up and take responsibility and stop the blame game.
