Kenyans especially in the five counties that was locked down by president Uhuru Kenyatta have all reasons to celebrate this big day after President relaxed these measures.
During his address to the Nation on Labour day at statehouse, President Kenyatta revised the curfew hours from 8pm to 10 pm which now applies to the whole country. Also churches and restaurants have been opened by they should operate according to the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health.
However Senator Mutula Kilonzo has cut short Kenyans celebration after he said said that there could be another lockdown and it's severity will depend on how responsible and patriotic Kenyans will. " The next lockdown will depend on our acts or omissions, let's be patriotic." Mutula warned.
Kenyans expressed different opinions on Mutula's statement most calling for responsibly on individual Kenyans as Covid-19 is real. Others claimed that after the passing of the building bridges initiative, another lockdown is a possibility.
