6 Ways To Be Consistent In Life And Achieve Your Goals

1. Have a specific goal.

Begin by focusing on only one goal to help you strengthen yourself and build momentum. Remember that starting small is the best way to acquire self-discipline.

2. Focus on habit, not outcome.

Habits eliminate guesswork and provide a clear step-by-step method to follow. "I walk 10,000 steps a day" > "I want to lose weight". Habits tend to become autopilot, build some!

3. Watch the clock.

Most people who "don't have time" for things probably do. How many hours do you think are wasted scrolling endlessly on their phones? Plan your days properly and cut out the distractions.

4. Start small, very small.

If your goal is to read a book a month, remember that each book starts with a single page. If you've struggled to finish a book, start with 1 page for the 1st day. 2 pages the next and so forth until you're in flow. 1 step is all it takes to start.

5. Always show up!

The most important thing is that you show up everyday. You will have good days and bad days, your best will look different each day. But those days you didn't want to do anything are the ones that count most!

6. Put your best foot forward.

If you;

• Eat well

• Exercise

• Drink enough water

• Get enough sleep

You'll have a head start as it's easier to build discipline when you are in good physical and mental shape.

7. Look in the mirror.

You have to hold yourself accountable!Asking friends and family is fine but what about when nobody is around?You only have yourself to answer to. Developing self accountability puts you in control. You are the master of your own destiny!
