Country Where People Rub Themselves With Mud As A Festival Celebration (Photos)
South Korea is one country with some of the most bizarre festivals in the world, among them, the mud festival that is celebrated annually, during the first two weeks of July.
The festival which is hosted in a coastal town in Boryeong is said to be one of the oldest festivals that started back in 1988.
The festival is one big party, with music, inflatables, zip-lining, and a whole host of mud-related activities such as mud wrestling and mud fireworks.
It earns South Korea millions Of money as many people turn up from all over the world to experience this mud festival in the mud that is said to be rich in minerals that manufacture cosmetics.
