Bouncy castle can be real fun to children. As has been the norm, most kids spend their weekends and holidays in parks equipped with entertainment equipment with bouncy castle. Unfortunately, it can turn deadly if not well supervised. A tragic incidence occurred today in a school event in Australia after the castle was lifted into the air by wind to a distance of about ten metres.
According to Tasmanian police, 5 children are dead and another four are critically injured after falling from about ten metres from the lifted bouncy castle. The nine learners belonging to Grade five and six at Hillcrest primary school were celebrating end of school year when the accident occurred. The tragic event happened at about 10am. The affected kids are aged 10 to 12 years old with the ones who passed on being two girls and two boys. The gender of the fifth child who died is yet to be confirmed.
